For children entering Kindergarten
Stories have the power to ignite children's curiosity and imagination, fueling and enriching their play. This summer we want to fill your child with stories, ones that are read from books and others that are retold using a felt board, small props, and puppets. We will experience stories in quiet spaces on a rainy day and then in big outdoor spaces, under trees, and in the gardens. After listening to stories, we will dive deeper and explore them further through art and sensory activities. As stories begin to unfold through the children’s play, teachers will record them in journals. These stories will be acted out during group meetings for all the children to enjoy.
