For children entering grades 6–8
75% of people in the world have been affected by fear of public speaking. This workshop is for students new to public speaking. It provides a solid foundation for communication in academic and professional settings in areas of science, technology, engineering, arts, and humanities by utilizing public speaking and social media platforms. By the end of their experience students will be equipped with tools they need to be effective future leaders—armed with skills to responsibly develop arguments, sway audiences, manage public speaking apprehension, research current events, reach skeptical audiences, and develop debate strategies.
