Fifth Grade Figures: Prepare and Review

For children entering grade 5

Middle school is just around the corner! Fifth grade is the last year for students to solidify their foundational skills, before making that jump. We will review fourth-grade concepts such as adding and subtracting fractions, factors and multiples, decimals and percents, and basic geometry. We will also preview fifth-grade topics including multiplying and dividing fractions, decimal computation, and numerical expressions. Students will be exposed to a variety of math tools to support their learning: manipulatives, math games, and written notes and visuals. Progress monitoring will be implemented through the summer to track growth and understanding. This class will ensure your rising fifth grader starts off the new school year on the right foot. The class will cover the same content each session and we recommend registering for this class only one time.
