This is definitely a highlight of summer!

Swimming

We are excited to partner with M3 Aquatics to provide an excellent swim program including lessons for children of all ability levels. Swimming takes place on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays weekly. The swim program will have low student-instructor ratios to ensure each child gets individualized attention while learning team-building skills. Campers will participate in a balanced aquatics experience, including games, lessons, workouts, and FUN!

Adventure Kids Sports

We offer a variety of sports and fun activities based on our weekly themes. From basketball and pickleball, to the ever-so-popular game of Quidditch, AK takes full advantage of our awesome facilities including multiple gyms, fields, playgrounds, pool, tennis courts, and more. Consistent with the core Adventure Kids values, all activities promote an all-inclusive and cooperative group dynamic.

AK Camp Idol and other Special Events

AK Camp Idol is our end-of-session showcase of talents. Groups work together to develop creative, energetic, and fun dance routines and other varying talents that they perform on the last day of the session in front of their fellow campers, staff, and an energetic crowd of fans. Other special events include Luaus, Game Show Days, Halloween in July (parade with marching band included), Flea Markets, and more.

Specialty Classes

Campers will participate in all that our supervisors and specialists have to offer. Some examples are: spa day, gardening, yoga, music, dance, arts and crafts, STEM challenges, and sports conditioning. Some classes specifically offered to older groups include an opportunity to participate in specialty units of outdoor adventures. Some of these options include fishing, paddle boarding, visits to Hyde Park’s historic lakefront treasure, The Point, and campus orienteering adventures.
