For children entering grades 6–8

Your red carpet to a great summer of music, dance, acting, fun, and friends! Join all your favorite Madagascar characters—Alex the lion, Melman the giraffe, Marty the zebra, Gloria the hippo, and those plotting penguins.  Develop skills in the performing arts, build creativity, teamwork, and self-esteem. Our mornings will be focused on forming a true ensemble, educating ourselves in all aspects of production: active listening, improvisations, risk-taking, music creation, dance choreography and techniques, and all that goes into putting a play together. Then, be ready for a fully-staged performance that even King Julien would be proud of! Get ready to “Move It, Move It!”

Session I: June 21–July 8
Half day: 8:15 a.m.–12:25 p.m.
Instructors: Miguel de la Cerna, Cecilia Collar and Jorge Niedas
Cost: Session I $1,100
