For children entering grade 3

This class is designed to provide review and practice to strengthen key areas with proficiency as the goal. The first objective is to gain mastery of the times table and understand how it relates to division. Next, we will explore fractions and basic operations. Telling time and finding elapsed time will be covered as well. Another activity will be creating bar graphs from data students collect from their daily standing jump. Finally, we will explore two-dimensional geometry where your student will categorize and analyze in order to compare and contrast different polygons. Hands-on activities, team competitions, and iPad game apps will provide additional practice in a fun and engaging way!
