Alumnus, physical education teacher, and coach Michael Moses, ’81, lost his father, groundbreaking Degas scholar and UChicago Assistant Professor of Arts and the Humanities Paul B. Moses, to a senseless murder when Michael was just three years old. Forty-eight years went by before Moses uncovered his father’s collection of paintings, personal letters, and photographs.
