The University of Chicago Laboratory Schools

Lars Nelson was a four-year varsity tennis standout for the Maroons in addition to playing soccer and basketball. He was named ISL Player of the Year and placed 4th in singles in the Illinois State Championships his senior year. Lars went on to play four years of Division 1 tennis at Santa Clara University in the West Coast Conference. At SCU, Lars ranked #1 in singles, won numerous awards, and led the team to a national ranking of 57.
