Life Skills for Labbies

Crab soccer, parachutes, giant cup stacking, and pirate’s treasure—it’s all fun and games until you start learning life lessons. Led by Jay Nacu, Austin Warner, and Alex Fernandez, Lab’s youngest students at the Early Childhood Campus are having fun, staying active, and developing important skills with physical education. From sportsmanship to cooperation, following instructions to strategic thinking, games provide a gateway to growing up smarter and healthier.

Physical education is an integral part of the whole-child experience and lays a strong foundation for appreciating the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Development of balance, strength, and flexibility aids students throughout their days. Besides that, playing games and staying active is joyful. Whether it’s celebrating the 100th day of school with one hundred repetitions of skills or taking a ride through “Scooterville,” our little Labbies love their time in the gym. Learning healthy habits and critical life skills has never been so fun!
