The University of Chicago Laboratory Schools

The Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Cross Country State Championship is this weekend and we have several runners representing Lab.

Our boys team had a great Sectional Championship showing last weekend, upsetting Latin and Hinsdale South for the final team spot and sending Simon Lane, Ben O'Donnell, Leyton Mueller, Oliver Go, Ellis Domenick, Connor Lane, and Sean Niro to State! 

Our girls narrowly missed qualifying as a team, but Taara Sajdeh qualified as an individual and she will represent us on the girls side this weekend. We are so proud of all these athletes and want to give them a big shout, congrats, and good luck as well as their coaches Austin Warner, Diane Jackson and Alexys Napper.
