The University of Chicago Laboratory Schools

On Thursday, the varsity girls golf team competed in the IHSA Class 1A Regional hosted by Providence Catholic at Green Garden Country Club in Frankfort, IL. Competing for the Maroons were Amelia Tan (81), Maxine Hurst (86), Devyn Moubayed (99), Ananya Douglas (110), Neha Dhawan (113), and Ava Cohen (131). U-High finished second of six teams with a score of 376 to advance as a team to the IHSA Sectional Championship on Monday at the Edgebrook Golf Course in Sandwich, IL.

Amelia Tan finished second overall and was a medalist, Maxine Hurst finished sixth overall, and Devyn Moubayed finished  twelfth overall. Congrats to the team for accomplishing one of their team goals to advance to Sectionals!
