Each year, the generosity of the Lab community touches the hearts and minds of more than 2,200 students. 

This fall, join families, alumni, and friends in showing your love for Lab during our annual fundraising drive, which provides critical support to the people and programs that sustain the Laboratory Schools—and helps students fulfill their promise. However you choose to show your LabLove—sharing words of affirmation, volunteering your time, attending an event, or making a philanthropic investment—everyone is invited to support the Fund for Lab.

The bedrock of Lab’s philanthropy efforts, the Fund for Lab is the Schools’ annual fund. It is the charitable giving engine that allows for continued investment in the people and programs at the center of the Lab experience. 

The Fund for Lab is unrestricted, meaning it provides the Schools with the flexibility to address Lab’s areas of greatest need. Academics, faculty/staff development, athletics, fine arts, financial aid—if it’s happening at Lab, the Fund for Lab supports it. 

Just like independent schools across the nation, revenue from tuition is not enough to cover the costs of a Lab education. The Fund for Lab helps close this gap between revenue and expenses.

Without it, Lab would not have the resources necessary to recruit the best and brightest faculty and students—and would be unable to provide the need-based financial aid that fosters our vibrant, diverse community.

Simply put—the Fund for Lab enables Lab to provide its signature educational experience to students of all financial backgrounds.
