Connect, Volunteer, & Lead

Although you've already left Lab, your association with the Schools lasts a lifetime. A strong alumni base is one of Lab's keys to success. Whether you attend a regional networking event or volunteer at the Schools, your leadership gives depth and breadth to the Lab experience.

Ways you can get involved:

Become a Lab Mentor

Share your career experience, advice and industry insights with other Labbies and current students. This exciting new program is scheduled to launch in early 2020.

Join the Alumni Association Executive Board

The Executive Board works with the Lab Office of Alumni Relations and Development to engage, connect and strengthen Lab’s 10,000 member alumni community with a robust engagement programs, including class reunions, volunteer initiatives, local and regional networking events and alumni awards to create affinity, loyalty and support for Lab. The Board meets twice a year and includes several committees. For more information about joining the board, please contact the Office of Alumni Relations.

Attend a Regional Career Trek

Launched in San Francisco in 2019,  Lab Career Treks give U-High students a unique opportunity for career exploration and to visit industry-specific employers focusing on technology and STEM entrepreneurship, life sciences, publishing, finance, entertainment and politics in New York City, Boston, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles.  Interested in being an alumni host to U-High students at your company? Nominate a colleague for one of Lab's alumni awards

All alumni can nominate someone for Lab’s Distinguished Alumni, Rising Star Professional Achievement, or Alumni Service awards, or propose a classmate to be profiled in LabLife magazine. Nominations for 2020 will open in fall, 2019. Awards are presented during Alumni Weekend in June.

Help us build the Lab Alumni Author's Collection

We created Lab’s Alumni Authors Collection to celebrate the work of our alumni—fiction, non-fiction, and scholarly writings. More than 100 of you sent in books for the collection and we now have a wonderful display in the U-High Lobby.

If you are an author, please send us your book (or books!).
