Apply through the Finalsite Enrollment application portal, Lab’s online admissions platform as soon as possible. The submission of the online application is step one in completing the admissions process.

Out of town applicants may complete the application process remotely.

We strongly encourage all applicants to apply as early as possible. Tours, presentations, parent meetings, student visit days and assessments will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Lab does not guarantee additional slots if those offered fill up.

• Upload a copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport.
• Upload your child’s previous academic year progress report/grades (if applicable).

Tour

Information Session

All applicants must attend an information session, even if they have attended in the past. Sessions held via Zoom or in person. Information about tours and information sessions can be found here.
 

Entrance exam

• Students must take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) by January 10, 2026. 
• Register for your test date as soon as possible. Slots fill quickly.

Visit Day

• Middle school applicants spend a day visiting in their target application grade.  
• The visit includes a brief interview with a member of the middle school admissions committee.
• To secure your child’s visit day, apply as soon as possible through the Finalsite Enrollment application portal.
   

Apply for Lab-funded financial aid through FACTS Grant & Aid.

• Submit the FACTS application. Deadline is December 1, 2025.
• Pay the $40 application fee directly to FACTS.
• Submit all required 2024 tax documentation directly to FACTS. Deadline is December 1, 2025.
• Submit all required 2025 tax documentation directly to FACTS. Deadline is April 15, 2026.
