More than just a repository of books, the Pritzker Traubert Family Library is a catalyst for intellectual curiosity and critical thinking. Librarians play a pivotal role in guiding students through the research process, teaching information literacy skills, and fostering a lifelong love of learning. Librarians are available for individual reference consultation with students, staff, and faculty and encourage recreational reading through readers’ advisory, book clubs, and independent reading projects. By graduation, students will be able to locate and evaluate print and electronic resources that appropriately support a defined inquiry, and create accurate citation references. In addition, students will understand how to use the University of Chicago Library resources to support their research.
With its extensive collection of books, periodicals, digital resources, and multimedia materials, the Pritzker Traubert Family Library provides students with access to a diverse array of information and perspectives. Equipped with modern technology and collaborative spaces, the library serves as a vibrant hub where students can engage in independent study, group projects, and interactive learning experiences.
