The Lim Family Library is an enchanting haven designed specifically for the youngest members of the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools community. Burrowed within the vibrant world of Lab’s renowned Early Childhood program, our library is a magical realm where imagination thrives, curiosity blossoms, and the joy of learning knows no bounds.
Lim Family Library serves Nursery/Kindergarten and Primary School students and teachers. The collection is approximately 24,000 volumes including non-fiction material to support the curriculum, a large fiction collection, audio books, DVDs, and magazines.
At the Lim Family Library, we believe that every child is a natural-born explorer, eager to embark on exciting journeys of discovery. Our collection of picture books, interactive stories, and playful learning materials sparks the imaginations of our little learners, igniting their passion for reading and exploration from the earliest age.
