On behalf of the Adventure Kids Day Camp and its supervisors and counselors, welcome to the fifth fun-filled year of adventures at Adventure Kids Day Camp (AKDC for short)! With an ever expanding program, the goal of our camp remains the same - to provide a safe, welcoming environment for our campers that helps foster in them the principles of cooperation, communication and creativity.

Oh and did I mention having fun? As you will see, here at AKDC, our campers have a great time! Whether they are groovin' out at one of our many Theme Days here on our state-of-the-art campus, or have journeyed on a field trip to an area water park or climbing wall, they are always exploring their world for new ways to learn, grow and . . . you guessed it have fun!

AKDC's daily activities, projects, and field trips are led by an experienced staff of Supervisors and Camp Counselors. Assisting them is a cadre of qualified Counselors in Training, a highly sought after position annually awarded primarily to older Lab School students. Our veteran staff is comprised of Chicago area teachers, including several of Lab's very own, all of whom have teaching as well as camp experience
