Geometry

Open to students entering grade 9 - 12

This class is designed for students who have already completed a year of algebra in 8th grade or high school and wish to advance in mathematics. This course includes congruence and similarity, properties of polygons, circles, and solids, and proof. Both Euclidian and algebraic approaches are explored. Resources used in the course include a textbook and Geometer’s Sketchpad - a computer software package.

Written approval of current teacher is required and should be forwarded to the Summer Lab office.

Full Session: June 23 - August 1
Morning: 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
Credit: 1 Unit of High School credit
