CSI: U of C Lab Schools
Open to students entering grades 6 - 9
This hands-on course will allow students to experience the science behind crime-scene investigations. Fingerprint and fiber analysis, DNA testing, and other basic crime lab techniques will be performed. Mock crime scenes will test your new skills! We will also discuss how real-life crime scene investigators use these techniques and others to help solve crimes. Students will learn lab procedures as well as some basic biology and chemistry. No prior knowledge is necessary, just a love of science!
