Pastry Passport

For students entering grade 5 - 8

It took Phileas Fogg 80 days to travel around the world. We’ll do it twice, in only fifteen! Bring your pastry passport and experience the culinary highlights of the world. We’ll learn to prepare and enjoy dessert wonders such as Viennese Sacher Torte, French Profiteroles and English Triffle. This class will teach the basics of baking and pastry as well as a brief history of each specialty. Preparation will take two to three days per dessert and will culminate in the sharing and discussion of what was created. The best part of this travel experience is no airport lines.

Note: Students may choose to attend both sessions as course material varies.

Session I: June 23 - July 11 (CLOSED)
Session II: July 14 - August 1 (CLOSED)
Afternoon: 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
