    The year is 1955. Gas stations have service. There are no diet sodas, and there are no skateboards. So when Marty McFly, a time traveler from 1985 is trying to get away from Biff Tannen and his gang of bullies, he takes a scooter and turns it into a skateboard. Then Biff and his friends chase Marty in their car. When Biff and his friends bump Marty, he hangs on to the front bumper. Biff and his friends don't see it, but there is a pile of manure ahead! Marty sees it, then speeds away. Biff and his friends crash into the pile of manure!

    Back to the Future is a funny movie! It was directed by Robert Zemeckis. It was filmed at MCA Universal. Michael Fox plays Marty McFly, a high-school kid who takes risks. Christopher Lloyd plays Dr. Brown, a weird inventor who invents the time machine. Lea Thompson plays Lorraine Bates, Marty's alcoholic mother in 1985, and in 1955 a bobby-soxer.

    Thomas Wilson plays Biff Tanon a bully who always gets in George's and Marty's way. And Crispin Glover plays George McFly, Marty's wimpy, greasy, and nerdy dad in 1955 and 1985.

    Back to the Future is about time travel. The movie is about what happens when Marty McFly travels through time by accident to 1955, When he runs into his parents, George and Lorraine. Now Lorraine's in love with Marty instead of George! This happens when Marty saves George from getting run over and Marty gets bumped, and Lorraine's family takes Marty in and Lorraine feels sorry for him instead of George (that's what makes them fall in love) ! How will George and Lorraine get married and have kids if Lorraine's in love with the wrong person -- her son? Now Marty's got to get Lorraine and George together, and get back to the right time -- 1985!

    Marty McFly is an intriguing character. He takes a lot of risks, and he never gives up when he has to get his parents together.

    I would really recommend Back to the Future. Both kids and adults would like it. It looks much better in a theater, rather than a television because of the great special effects! It's a really good movie!
