    The 1963 Nutty Professor
    Reviewed by Jessica Pikorz

It's the very end of the movie and each character comes on the screen while the credits are going. When the Nutty Professor comes on the screen, he trips, and falls into the camera!

The Nutty Professor is a very funny movie. It was directed by Jerry Lewis and was filmed at Paramount Studios in 1963. Jerry Lewis plays Julius Kelp, a weird professor who invents a weird potion. When he drinks the potion, he turns into Buddy Love, a swinger who gets turned into by the potion. Stella Stevens plays Stella Perty, a girl Julius Kelp is secretly in love with. The movie is about a professor that invents a potion that changes him.

The main characters are Stella Perty and Julius Kelp. The movie is about what happens when a bully from school humiliates Prof. Kelp in front of the girl he likes. Then he tries ways to get stronger, but it doesn't work. Since he's a chemist, he invents a mysterious liquid. Whenever he drinks it, he turns into a strong, good looking guy. It even changes his voice! But then the stuff wears off at the oddest times. And Prof. Kelp doesn't want anybody to know that he's nerdy Prof. Kelp. So when he's singing a song at a party, his regular voice comes back and everyone stares at him! Or when he's talking to Stella his real voice comes back and he has to run away!

Prof. Kelp is an intriguing character. He talks funny, and he's nerdy. I'm surprised Stella liked him.

I would recommend this movie. Adults might like it a little more than kids. This movie is a lot of fun!
