Past Marriage, Future Baby

Franck is a designer for parties, rooms. He designed George Bank's daughter's wedding in Father of the Bride. George really hates Franck, but Franck doesn't mind about George. George is a business man and has been driving his pregnant daughter to the hospital every night, but she always has a false alarm. They always come back home, and it was always in the morning and George has to go to work. He can't sleep at work, because for some reason he doesn't feel like sleeping. But he hasn't slept for three days straight.

So Franck gives him three sleeping pills. George gulps down all three of them. He immediately goes to sleep ,and George's son thinks his dad died. Franck carries George to the couch and asks the son how many pills he took. George was only supposed to take one!

This scene is even funnier if you see the movie. The director of Father of the Bride Part 2 is Charles Shyer. Father of the Bride Part 2 was made at Touchstone Pictures in 1995. The main character is George Banks (Steve Martin), his wife Nina (Diane Keaton), the daughter Annie Banks-MacKenzie (Kimberly Williams), his son-in-law Bryan MacKenzie (George Newbern), and the designer Franck Eggelhoffer (Martin Short).

In order to get the point of Father of the Bride Part 2, you sort of have to watch the original Father of the Bride, which has the same characters. In this movie, George Banks really feels down because now his daughter is having a baby, and he just got over her marriage. George isn't ready to be a grandfather ,so he tries to get younger. He dyes his hair and tries to act like he is really young.

Then his wife gets pregnant, too! You will have to watch the movie to find out what happens next.

The movie was really funny in some parts and some parts were stupid. It was funny, for one example, when Nina and Annie are lying down on the couch and they turn the air conditioning up really high because they were really hot and the weather outside was really hot too. George has to wear a winter jacket, and he looks like an Eskimo.

I recommend this movie for the comedy. I think this movie is a little bit directed towards the older kids and adults. I think you should watch it on video at home. It was really funny, but I don't think it was worth going to the movies to see it.
