    Vertigo

Alfred Hitchcock is the director of The Birds, Psycho, Rear Window and other great movies. Like all the rest of his movies, Vertigo is great. Like Rear Window, Vertigo is a mystery. It is also a thriller and a love story, all in one.

Usually Hitchcock makes you ask yourself: Who did it? In Vertigo he makes you ask yourself : Who really died? Who's the murderer? And who is that woman really?

Vertigo is a Paramount Picture and was directed by Alferd Hitchcock. John 'Scottie' Ferguson (James Stewart) falls in love with Madeleine Elster- - or at least that's what he thinks. He really falls in love with Judy Barton (Kim Novak), who pretends to be Madeleine Elster. Remember I told you Hitchcock keeps you thinking?

Well, Gavin Elster (Tom Helmore) married his wife for the money, and after a while he got tired of being married to her so he decides to kill her. But he has to make it look like a suicide, because he doesn't want to get caught for the murder. So he hires Judy to act like his wife. He makes up a story about his wife's body being taken over by her dead grandmother's spirit and how she wonders off and doesn't even know she has been anywhere. It sounds crazy, but it makes a lot of sense if you watch the movie. Gavin has Judy act this story out, and he hires Scottie to follow her around. Soon Scottie believes the story.

Vertigo is a great movie and I do recommend that you watch it to find out what happens. But it would be confusing for some kids. Some kids won't like it, but I'm 13 and I enjoyed the movie.

Vertigo is also a movie for adults.
