The Popcorn's Soggy

Way in the future, the polar ice caps have melted, covering the earth with water and creating a whole new world: Waterworld. The Mariner is driving his sailboat around the water, trying to get away from the evil smokers, to get a bag of valuables floating in the water, and to get revenge on a man who stole his limes.

He puts the sail up and heads for the bag. He gets the bag and heads for the man who stole his limes. If the smokers, who zoom around on jet skis, get you, they usually kill you. The mariner knocks the thief's sail over and zooms away, motioning "You, are dead," to the thief.

Kevin Costner plays the Mariner, a grumpy, fish like creature. Dennis Hopper plays the Deacon, the crazy smoker leader. Jeanne Tripplehorn plays Helen, Enola's mother-like friend. Tina Majorino plays Enola, a little girl who has a tattoo that some people think is the map to dry land on her back.

Waterworld is a movie about the fight to get to dry land. It is also a movie about friendship. If you like to swim, you'll love this movie.

I think that the Mariner is a very courageous creature because no matter what, he always saves Enola. The music is also very nice.

I recommend this movie for everybody. If you are going to see this movie, then have a good time watching it!
