    The Hunchback of Notre Dame
    Reviewed by Hanna Ernst

Quasimodo and his three gargoyle friends, Huego, Victer, and Laverne are throwing things of the bell tower at Frollo's army. Victer the gargoyle closes his eyes and drops a brick off the bell tower. It hits someone on the head and Victer peeks and yells, "Sorry!"

The Hunchback of Notre Dame is a nice version of the famous Hunchback story. It was directed by Gary Trousdale and Kirk Wise. Tom Hulce is the voice of Quasimodo, a lonely hunchback who falls in love with the beautiful gypsy dancer Esmerelda. Demi Moore was the voice of Esmerelda. Tony Jay was the voice of Frollo, the evil judge. Kevin Kline was the voice of Captain Phoebus, the brave captain who falls in love with Esmerelda.

The plot of the movie is that the hunchback falls in love with Esmerelda and his master Frollo tells him that gypsies are bad. This movie is very complicated because Esmerelda is so beautiful that Quasimodo, Phoebes, and Frollo all fall in love with her.

I love the music in this movie because the tunes are so cool and it's a really good, funny movie. My three favorite songs were Hellfire, a song that Frollo sings about Esmerelda. God Help the Outcasts, is a song that Esmerelda sings to God to help the outcast. And the song that the gargoyles sang about Esmerelda being in love with Quasimodo.

If I were Siskel or Ebert I'd give this movie three stars because it's a great movie but there's a little too much violence.
