Mission Almost ImpossibleMission ImpossibleReviewed by Greg Kohlhagen "Red light, green light," Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) screams. He smashes an explosive piece of gum together. It has a red side and a green side. He jumps off a helicopter that he is on, and the bad guy is in. They are inside of the Chunnel so he jumps of the helicopter on to a moving train. The helicopter explodes into flames, flipping towards him. The helicopter slowly stops rolling and, not a bit too late, the blade narrowly misses him. One engineer of the train is in the back car. He faints when he looks up to see what happened. The plot to Mission Impossible is very complicated. Ethan Hunt is an IMF agent who is working in Prague to stop a terrorist group from stealing part of a document called the Nautilus. The Nautilus is a document split into two parts. One part is the code names of all the IMF agents. The other part of the Nautilus is the real names of the agents. A copy of the real name section is kept in a vault in Prague. Ethan's team is trying to stop the terrorists from getting it. But after the mission fails and every one dies in his team, his boss Kittrige tells him that the mission was a fake. This plot keeps changing throughout the whole movie, but the plot is always very interesting. Ethan Hunt is the main IMF (spy) agent in Mission Impossible. Jim Phelps (Jon Voight) is the leader of all the IMF agents in the team at Prague. Sarah (Kristin Thomas) is an IMF agent that is supposedly the only one left besides Ethan after the mission at Prague. Kittrige (Henry Czenry) is working at the IMF and supposedly is the bad guy. Every one in the team supposedly dies except Ethan and Sarah. This movie is very good. It has good action sequences, mixed with a good overall plot. Each actor or actress plays his or her part very well. It is good for kids 10 and up. But I would especially recommend to see it two times to get the plot down. |
