In this story Sarah is very popular at her school. She and others enjoy when she tells wonderful, imaginary tales about many different things. Sarah and the dean of the school soon finds out that Sarah's father has been killed in the war. There is no more money, so Ms. Minchen (Dean) does not want to support Sarah as a student anymore. But she has no choice but to care for her, because there is no one else to do so. So, Ms. Minchen decides to join Sarah with her friend Annie, who is already a school servant. Now that Sarah is a servant, it makes Lavina fell that she is even more important than Sarah, and also tries her hardest to discourage Sarah.
Then Sarah later finds out that her father is not dead, and is staying at a home across the street from Sarah's school. But, the first tome greets her father, she does not recognize him because he is so badly bruised and bandaged. Sarah's father does not remember much, including his daughter. Sarah's father slowly starts remembering things. Immediately after he remembers everything, and has found out that Sarah was being treated as if she were a slave, he took her out of the school. Not only did he take Sarah out, he took Annie out also. Sarah's father got to know Annie very well, and considered her as his daughter also. He treated Sarah and Annie equally, and they both became little princesses.
This was a very interesting book, it was also exciting and adventurous. This book kept me wondering, you would never guess what was coming up next. This is the kind of book that you wouldn't get board reading. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading!
