Chicago Showcases some of nations top athletes

IMPORTANT REMINDER - SPORT PHYSICALS DUE FOR FALL ATHLETES!
ALL STUDENT ATHLETES ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A CURRENT PHYSICAL ON FILE WITH THE ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT. NO PRACTICE OR PARTICIPATION WILL BE ALLOWED WITHOUT A PHYSICAL DATED WITHIN A YEAR OF THE SEASON.

August Maroons Team Baseball and Dance Troupe Sport Camps
A Baseball and Dance Troupe Camp will run from August 25th - 29th from 9AM -noon. The cost is $185.
Baseball Camp will be run by Coach Walker and Coach Lane. Camp is open to all 6th grade through 12th grade students.
Dance Troupe Camp will be run by Coach Fran Spaltro and Coach Staci Garner. Camp is open to all 9th through 12th grade students.

US Soccer Federation Grade 8 Referee Clinic
The University of Chicago Laboratory Schools is hosting a US Soccer
Federation Grade 8 Referee Clinic sponsored by the Southside Fire Soccer Club
on August 23-24 for beginning referees and August 24 for referees desiring
recertification.
Details of the clinic and an online enrollment form is available at:

Once there, scroll down to August 23-24 University of Chicago and click on
the Entry/Recert cell.
This clinic is open to all referees including those unable to get in the
clinic at the ISRC Headquarters, which is full. The Grade 8 course is
necessary before taking all higher level courses.

It is suggested that all participants in the Hyde Park Youth Soccer Referee
Development and Mentoring Program take the latter course.
