Third Grade Reading Workshop
Monday and Wednesday (3:00 pm)

In Reading Workshop 3, children will read books in a small group, respond to reading through writing, and share ideas through discussion. Students will explore elements of fiction including plot structure, character development, and setting. Participants will practice reading non-fiction to research topics of interest. This course is geared towards improving reading comprehension strategies for third graders. However, it is not meant to replace work with reading specialists or outside tutors.

After registration, students will complete short screening with course instructor to determine learning goals for the course.
