Second Grade Reading Workshop
Wednesday and Thursday (2:30 pm)
Second Grade Reading Workshop will provide second graders time to read chapter books in fiction and non-fiction. The class will respond to reading through writing and share their ideas through discussion. The class will work on comprehension by reading small passages, and writing the answers that are then shared with the group. This is extra time with books that may help improve reading. It is not meant to replace work with reading specialists or outside tutors. Reading specialists and teachers will be consulted to confirm the class is a "good fit" for the child.
