Summer School set for June 23-August 1

The Schools are once again offering a selection of six-week summer enrichment opportunities, as well as the increasingly popular Adventure Kids Day Camp. Courses in reading, writing, science, mathematics, and drama for all ages are also available.

Morning, afternoon, and full day programs are available, as are late afternoon sports camps, with even more activities than last year. Summer dates are set for June 23-August 1.

New for 2003 is Summer Lab on Stage, in which Lab School music teachers Katy Sinclair and Marc Piane will coach and encourage participants to put on their very own, first time "Summer Lab Cabaret" at the Court Theatre.

Brochures are being mailed to Lab families with the full schedule of summer offerings. Information is also available online at www.SummerLab.org. People may receive a brochure by calling (773) 834-7766.

And don't forget to ask about the Summer Lab Adventurer Field Study trips. High School students will have the opportunity to study and visit Puerto Rico and Ghana--yes, Ghana, West Africa! Middle Schoolers may participate in "Ecoquest," which includes a trip to Florida. For more information, please call the Summer Lab hotline at (773) 834-7766 or visit the Web site www.SummerLab.org.
