Science links Schools and University

University faculty encourage young explorers

The joy of discovery connects University of Chicago science faculty with students at the Laboratory Schools, whom they mentor, welcome into their labs, and visit for classroom presentations.

The Laboratory Schools are nourished by these relationships, both formal and informal, often initiated by teachers who reach out to the University faculty, as well as by the professors, many of them parents, who eagerly contribute their expertise to their children's school.
