U-High athletes have successful
fall season
University High School athletes found
success on the field and the court during the fall sports seasons. Here is a
summary of their achievements: Varsity Girls' Volleyball: The team took second
place in the Luther East Tournament and made it to the Regional finals. After
losing to Holy Trinity twice during the regular season, the girls beat them
in the third game to make the Regional final.
- Varsity Boys' Soccer: The team
had a great season with a young squad and finished 15-6-2.
- Varsity Girls' Tennis: The team
had a season filled with outstanding accomplishments. It won the Independent
Schools League Championship for the second straight year, had eight All-Conference
players and four state qualifiers, and compiled a undefeated record (13-0)
in dual team matches.
- Cross Country: Sophomore Rebecca
Levine had an outstanding season, finishing as ISL Champion and ISL Athlete
of the Year, winning the Sectional, and placing fourth in the State Meet.
