WHEN?
Saturday, January 31 through Monday, February 2, 1998.
We leave from in front of Blaine Hall at 8:00am and return to the school about 4:30pm on Monday.

ACCOMMODATIONS?
We will be staying in fully-equipped, private townhouses, boys' houses separated from girls', approximately 6 students and one chaperone per cabin. Some students will share queen or king-size beds. Complete kitchens also include microwaves, toasters and coffee-makers. Some houses have VCRs.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
  • warm clothes for three days -- we do a lot of walking. ( Be sure to include boots, mittens, scarves, hats, etc.)
  • a swimming costume-- we will have a pool party on Sat. night.
  • a sleeping bag ONLY if you do not want to use the sheets and blankets that are provided.
  • necessary and appropriate personal items, plus some suggestions:
    • sunscreen
    • chapstick
    • camera
    • sunglasses
    • skin lotion


FOOD?
The Eagle Ridge Inn is preparing most of our meals. We will have a pizza supper in the townhouses on Saturday night and breakfast in the townhouses on Sunday morning. All other meals will be in the lodge.

With a complete kitchen in each townhouse, students sometimes like to bring some of their own food. We do not discourage this, within reason. There is also a small general store on the Eagle Ridge property where students may purchase some food items and sundries (even a Sunday morning paper!).

COST?
This year the cost of the trip will be $220 per student. The forms and checks are due by Friday, December 5. We do have some limited partial scholarship assistance available (we will NOT support anyone fully). Please contact Mrs. Shapiro for more information and/or a Scholarship Application.

WHAT DO I HAVE TO TURN IN?
  • the Consent Form
  • the Getaway Agreement Form (signed by both student and parent)
  • the Activity Selection Form
  • the Roommate Request
  • a check for the total amount at the bottom of the Activity Selection Form.

WHEN DO I HAVE TO HAVE EVERYTHING IN?
All forms must be completed, signed and returned with payment by Friday, December 5, 1997.
