Aliens Attack the Campfire
By: Stelios Constantinides
It was a cold and dark night. I was sitting at a campfire outside the boys' cabins in the camp L.O.M.C. in the small town of Oregon, IL. The flames of the fire danced in the darkness, lighting up the faces of the kids sitting around the fire. There was the sound of the fire crackling in the background. The leaves rustled around us. The smell of burning logs was in the air.
All of a sudden, a tiny green glowing sphere appeared in the western sky where the sun had set. The sphere appeared to be spinning slowly. There was a low humming sound that was coming from the sphere. The sphere hovered above the campfire. The girl sitting across from me screamed and fainted. A green glowing alien came out of the forest behind her. It had dark black eyes that looked directly into mine. It had vertical slits for a mouth. It did not have ears or a nose. It had three fingers and three toes and it was about three feet ten. "ìIt cha wit cupping ode Mitch Odosî," it said in a high and soft voice. The alien exploded. A couple of people started to scream.
The sphere started to spin faster and it turned yellow-green. Everybody around the campfire started to run to their cabins. A few people fainted. The sphere started to get smaller and smaller until it disappeared where it came from. That night the kids, teachers, and counselors trembled in their sleeping bags. That was the night that proved that there is supernatural life. Now, the camp is boarded up and police lines surround the campfire.
