Mac & Cheese Save the Day!

By: Jessica Cambry

Once, there was a place called L.O.M.C. (Lutheran Outdoors Ministries Center.) It was a lovely place. It was surrounded by a forest. Inside the forest were deer that were not afraid of humans. The reason the deer were not afraid of humans is because there were no deer hunters around and there was no hunting in that forest. You would usually see them in high grass areas.

Then one day there was a terrible storm. All the trees were washed away. The rain even washed the wonderful cabins away with the bunk beds still rolling around inside of them! All that was left was a stick, and the dining hall with the cooks still inside!

Then, the big, cute, evil, Ferlies with the high powered lazer guns at their waists attacked L.O.M.C!

The cooks were packing their bags, because everything had been washed away in the terrible storm. Just as they were finishing packing, they heard a pounding noise in the front entrance of the dining hall.

Then all of a sudden, the Ferlies ran into the front entrance of the dining hall. The cooks were so scared. They grabbed the closest thing to them and that happened to be the mac and cheese. To defend themselves, they threw the mac and cheese at the Ferlies.

The Ferlies tasted it because it smelled like their own nasty Ferlie food. In 3 seconds they blew up because they were allergic to human cheese.
