Whoa partner! Look here, who do we have? Mrs. Lesher's group is a going hashin'. They look as if they're having a good time, though they are pretty deep into those sticks and twigs. Hey, it's got to be a little adventurous. Shh, we should be quiet, those two girls in front look like they're listening to something, or looking at something important, probably a teacher - we wouldn't want to disturb them. Ah, but look at the little boy behind the bushes (in the gray sweatshirt and red checkered jacket around his waist). I think he can see us, don't you? Boy, he must be happy, that's a pretty big grin for a little boy. Well now I leave you here, to browse anywhere....Thank you for visiting our web site!

In this picture I am reading the questions. This question is how to write about trees and people, about how people like or don't like trees. I had a good time.

This picture is Mrs. Lesher's group doing an activity called hashing. It is done out in the woods, and is somewhat like a scavenger hunt. You search for markers, which are yellow and pink. When you spot a pink one, you know that there's a note and bag nearby. After you find a note, you read it and then talk about it with your group. In the end, you have to make up a song about all the new words and things you learned about yourself. In this picture a girl in Mrs. Lesher's group is reading one of the notes by a pink marker.

This is a picture of poison ivy. It is three-leafed, red and green. If you ever see poison ivy, do not touch it, because you will get a very, very, bad itch. Poison ivy is very, very catchable. If you touch it sometimes it's not allergetic. But inside this vigorous plant there is a certain oil, and if you squeeze the plant hard enough the oil will get on your hand and will give you a rash. You will most commonly find these plants on the side of forest trails, hidden low into the ground. It can be pinkish red and green and it has three ridgey rounded leaves. So when your on a forest trail watch out!

Don't fret. Poison ivy sap CANNOT travel over the internet!

This is poison ivy. Don't touch it because if the sap gets on you then your body has a bad reaction to the ivy and your body starts itching. If it gets on your clothes, then when you put those same clothes on next week or whenever you can get it again. Poison ivy has three leaves. They turn red in the winter. Remember, don't touch it.

Watch out, it's POISON IVY. If you touch it you will get a rash. If you don't you won't. This is a type of plant that lurks through the forest laughing at you when you touch it. It is very evil. This plant has three leaves and it is green and/or red. It can be big or tall, skinny or small, giant or huge. So don't touch it. I think you get my point. It usually only gives you poison ivy if you squeeze it, but don't go on thinking you can touch it. You can usually find it growing up trees in the woods. If you get the rash it itches, but you can't itch it because the rash will just get even worse. There is oil inside and it comes out when you squeeze it. That is how you get poison ivy.

We are looking at a very close up picture of poison ivy. It has three leaves and if you touch it the oils that are in it get in your skin and it makes little bumps all over the place where it touched you. The leaves can be over a million kinds of colors. In the picture that I'm showing you the leaves are green and red.
