Hiking with Mr. Fox, Bonfire, Dinner, Leaving

Student Groups - Canoeing and Hiking - Skis, Owl Pellets, Wall Climbing - Tires, Art, Maze, Human Knot - Bonfire, Dinner, Leaving

Hiking with Mr. Fox, who was 81 years old, was not a walk in the park. He jogged up and down hills, introduced us to garlic-mustard, showed us a cave, pointed out animal tracks, and lead us on a vigorous hike through the forest.

After all that we were ready to head to the dining hall to line up to eat.

After a bonfire, s'mores, and song, our beds looked awfully good to us.

One of the best parts of camp was mealtime because we were really hungry after all the hiking and canoeing.

Friday afternoon came and it was time to leave. What a wonderful three days we had.

We left school at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 8, 1997 and returned on Friday at 1:00 p.m., October 10, 1997.
