Restrictions
Restrictions which deny further registration privileges and use of University and Laboratory
Schools services and facilities are placed on students' records by both administrative and

to the University. Whenever possible, students are warned of impending restriction and are told
when a restriction has been imposed.
- Students with an outstanding balance at the end of a quarter may not attend class the
next quarter and will be withdrawn from school.
- All transcripts, records, progress reports will be withheld while an outstanding balance exists.
- 8th and 12th grade students may not graduate with an outstanding balance.
- The Laboratory Schools reserves the right to restrict a student with an unpaid balance
from taking final exams.
- A $100 late fee for payments received by the Bursar's Office past the due date.
- High school students with an outstanding balance will be unable to enroll in College courses.
These policies will be rigidly administered.
Grade Reports and Transcripts of Academic Records
Registered students who have no restrictions will receive copies of their grades as soon as
possible after the end of the quarter. Reports include all grades received by the Laboratory
Schools Registrar from the faculty by the deadline for printing the reports. Requests for
complete transcripts should be made in writing to the Laboratory Schools Registrar at least
48 hours prior to the date the transcript should be issued. For each copy of a transcript
there is a charge of $5.00 payable at the time the transcript is requested. Requests for
transcripts must be submitted in writing. If requested, records may be sent via facsimile.
