  Holmes and McRae Take Firsts at the 2nd Annual Midway Fencing Tournament

  300 fencers from around the Midwest competed in the 2nd Annual Midway
  Fencing Classic on Saturday. All three gyms were jammed packed for the
  day.
  
  The Maroons had a fine showing, the following students won a medal
  (top 8 of 60+ participants) in their respective weapon.

  The winter High School athletic season begins:
  October 17th - Fencing
  October 31st - Girls Basketball
  November 7th - Boys Basketball
  November 21st - Boys Swimming
  Middle School sports begin on November 7th. For individual times, please visit your team's web page. Here you will also find what to wear, equipment (if any) to bring, coaches' contact information, team schedules and other sport specific details.
  All athletes are required to have an updated physical on file with the Athletic Office the first day of practice. While a student is required to attend practice, he/she will not be allowed to participate until a current physical is submitted. If an athlete is unsure if one is on file, please contact Gail Poole.
