• Boys Tennis Team Wins Sectionals!

  THE BOYS TENNIS TEAM won the IHSA Sectional Championship in convincing fashion. The Maroons advance all 6 players to the State Finals this coming weekend finishing first and second in both singles and doubles competition. Senior Conrad Harron defeated Lucas Buchheim-Jurisson to win the sectional singles championship. James Duran and Jeesae Kim defeated Matthew Garvey and Kassim Husain to win the sectional doubles championship. At the ISL Championships last weekend Conrad Harron was named ISL Tennis Player-of-the-Year and Gerold Hanck ISL Coach-of-the-Year.

  State Girls Track Results

  Senior Sarah Curci had quite a weekend in Charleston at the IHSA 2A State Track Championships. Curci finished 6th in the 3200m race ( 11:18.02 ) and 7th in 1600m race ( 5:13.41). The grueling races were run within 3 hours, in the heat of the day at Eastern Illinois University. Freshman Lucy Kenig-Zeisler ran a fine 3200m race in a time of 12:13.93. Freshman Olivia Perozo ran a PR in the 100 hurdles and the 4 X 800 relay team of Hannah Tomio, Sonia Bourdaghs, Lucy Kenig-Zeisler, Jax Ingrassia competed well.
