Visit Us

An important part of the process of applying to the Laboratory Schools is the school visit. All applicant families should plan to do so and call the Office of Admission to make arrangements.

For Nursery School and Kindergarten applicant families, tours are scheduled (adults only, please) on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 8:45 to 11:00 a.m. October through February. Once you have submitted your application, you may reserve your place on a tour by calling the Office of Admission at 773-702-9451.

For applicants to Grades 1-5, tours are scheduled (again, for adults only) on a number of Tuesday and Friday mornings December through March. Please call the Office of Admission after October 15, for details.

Applicants to Grades 6, 7, and the High School are cordially invited to attend our Middle and High School Open House on Sunday, October 21, 2007, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.  All interested children and adults are welcome. Tours begin at 1:00, 1:45, 2:30, and 3:15 p.m. You do not need to make a reservation. Families who cannot make the Open House are welcome to sign up for a Middle/High School tour in January or February by calling our office after November 5, 2007.

Families interested in Laboratory Schools, but who are not ready to make application for their children, are encouraged to visit us in the spring on our April and May tours. Please call the Office of Admission after February 1, 2008, for details.
