This inquiry is not an application. Filling out this inquiry will enable us to know more about your interests and needs, and will permit us to send you information about Lab. To complete a formal application to Lab, please access the button to the left, marked "apply".  Applications for entry during the 2013-2014 academic year will be available on this website beginning August 1, 2012 (for Nursery 3) and September 1, 2012 (all other grades).  If you have further questions, please call the Admissions Office at 773-702-9451.

Special note: This formal inquiry is available to parents of students who meet our applicant age requirements. All formal applications to Lab begin the year prior to enrollment. For example, applicants to Nursery 3 (three year old children) for the 2013-2014 academic year (enrolling in Fall, 2013) must be two years old before September 1, 2012. 

Parents with infants are encouraged to wait until the child is two before making a formal online inquiry. Lab does not maintain wait pools or other lists of interest prior to the application year. 

University of Chicago faculty, academic appointees, and candidates/recruits for these positions, as well as siblings of current Laboratory Schools students, should contact the Admissions Office with any questions regarding admissions deadlines or applications for the 2012-2013 academic year.
