The Laboratory Schools Admissions Office is located on two separate campuses.
EARL SHAPIRO HALL (ESH), 5800 S. STONY ISLAND AVE
Applicants to grades Nursery 3, Nursery 4, Kindergarten and grades 1 & 2 will visit Earl Shapiro Hall (5800 S. Stony Island Ave.), for the tour, student visit day (assessment), and any other meetings. When you enter ESH, please let the security guard know that you have arrived for an Admissions Office appointment.
HISTORIC CAMPUS (HC), 1362 E. 59TH STREET
Applicants to grades 4-12 will visit Historic Campus, (Blaine Hall, S119, located at 1362 E. 59th Street, Chicago IL 60637) for the tour, student visit day/assessment, and any other meetings. When you enter Historic Campus, please let the security guard know that you have arrived for an Admissions Office appointment.
SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING GRADE 3 APPLICANTS
Grade 3 applicants will spend their student visit day/assessment at Earl Shapiro Hall, in a second grade classroom with their peers. All other appointments (parent tours, meetings, etc.) will take place at Historic Campus.
MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE (SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2015)
Families who wish to attend Lab's Middle or High High School Open House may park on the Midway Plaisance, between 59th and 60th street bordered by Woodlawn and Dorchester Avenues. Parking should be readily available on a Sunday.

Limited parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Visitors to Earl Shapiro Hall may find it convenient to park at the University of Chicago parking lot, located at 60th and Stony Island Ave. Limited parking may also be available just behind Earl Shapiro Hall.
Visitors to Historic Campus may find limited parking right outside of Judd Hall on Kimbark Avenue (5835 S. Kimbark Ave.) Please use parking spaces designed by the orange lines drawn in the ground on the east side of Kimbark. If you find parking, please park your car, enter Judd Hall, and request a parking pass from the security guard.
Public parking is also available on the Midway Plaisance, between 59th and 60th street bordered by Woodlawn and Dorchester Avenues.
Regardless of location, parking is extremely limited. All visitors should arrive early to provide additional time to park.
