The Laboratory Schools Admissions Office is located on the historic campus of the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools in Judd Hall, Room 120. Visitors to the Admissions Office are encouraged to enter Judd Hall on the west side of the school at the 5835 S. Kimbark Avenue entrance. Upon entry, the security guard will guide families a short distance to the Admissions Office.
Lab's main entrance, Blaine Hall, at 1362 E. 59th Street, is currently being renovated so access to the Admissions Office through Blaine may, at times, be restricted. Families who enter at Blaine Hall should ask security to be directed to the Admissions Office.

Limited parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis right outside of Judd Hall on Kimbark Avenue. Please use parking spaces designed by the orange lines drawn in the ground on the east side of Kimbark. If you find parking, please park your car, enter Judd Hall, and request a parking pass from the security guard. Families who are unable to find parking along Kimbark should seek parking in the immediate general area. Parking is extremely limited, so visitors should arrange for additional time to park.
HIGH SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE (Sunday, November 2, 2014)
Families visiting Lab for High School Open House should follow the balloons and signage to the school's east side entrance at 5840 S. Kenwood Avenue (on the mall between Kovler/Sunny Gums and the U-High entrance). Parking is available on the Midway Plaisance between 59th and 60th Street bordered by Woodlawn and Dorchester Avenues. Our early childhood campus, Earl Shapiro Hall, is home to our children in Nursery, Kindergarten and Grades 1-2. Applicant families will receive specific instructions on how to access Earl Shapiro Hall for any Admissions-related events. Please do not go to the Earl Shapiro Hall unless specifically instructed to do so by the Admissions Office!
