Dear Families:

Unfortunately, due to limited space availability, Lab is unable to accept general applications to Grades 1 and 2 at this time.  Current, full-time University of Chicago Faculty, prospective (recruited) University of Chicago Faculty, Laboratory Schools employees and Sibling Families (families with children currently at Lab), are permitted to apply to Grades 1 and 2. These families are asked to call or email the Admissions Office (773-702-9451; admissions@ucls.uchicago.edu) to receive instructions regarding the application process. 

Families who cannot apply to Grades 1 and 2 are strongly encouraged to complete the Lab’s online Interest Pool form, found below. 

The Interest Pool form is not an application, but an expression of interest in a grade. If space develops, the Admissions Office may contact Interest Pool families. To learn more about the Interest Pool, please click on the link to the left, or click HERE. We hope to welcome you soon to Lab! 

 

An application to Lab does not guarantee admission. All applicants, including Faculty and Sibling Families, are encouraged to explore alternative educational options.
