Dear Families: 

Thank you for your interest in the Laboratory Schools. Unfortunately, the deadline to begin the 9th grade application process was Friday, November 30, 2012, and has now passed.
 

Current Applicants: please track your application progress online by clicking on the link below. You will need the email and password you created when you started your child's application. After Lab has processed any received documents, they will be marked as "received" in the online portal, under "action items". 

Please allow at least 5 business days for Lab to process all submitted documents.

Important Information:

Due Dates: Online applications and initial supporting paperwork must be submitted to Lab by 11:59 p.m. on November 30, 2012. Please note: documents may be postmarked by November 30, 2012. After Lab has received these documents, families may schedule the parent interview and student shadow day. The entire application process, including the student visit and parent meeting, must be complete by January 31, 2013.

Shadowing: All applicants are invited to shadow at Lab! Please note that shadow days and parent meetings will be arranged after submission of the application fee and invoice, parent questionnaire, student shadow day form, and grades/progress reports.  

Open House: Lab's Open House was Sunday, October 21, 2012, and has now passed. Students will visit Lab on their shadow day. The Admissions Office will do its best to offer another parent tour at some point in the future for families who are active in the application process.  

Document Submission: For ease of processing, please submit requested documents together, in one envelope. Ideally, documents should be mailed to Lab. All contact information is listed below. 

Financial Aid: To apply for financial aid, click HERE. The deadline to complete the financial aid process is February 1, 2013.

Application Fee: The Admissions Office cannot accept deposits, application fees or other money. Please mail the application fee and invoice to Lab, attention CASHIER. All other admission documents should be mailed to Lab, attention: ADMISSIONS. 

Decision Notification Date: Admissions decisions will be mailed on Wednesday, March 6, 2013. 

An application to Lab does not guarantee admission.  All applicants, including Faculty and Sibling Families, are encouraged to explore alternative educational options.
