Tuesday it was posted for inspection. Wednesday voting at tables in the corridor supervised by active members, forty-four of fifty girls voted. Final initiation in Girls' Club on December 26 at 1:30. Several alumnae present. It was " a lively affair". The girls received their pins and then adjourned for refreshments. Then Dorothy Higbie was voted president. " As the lights had to go out, meeting adjourned, "everyone feeling very elated." [Editor's note: the lights would have had to go out because of wartime blackout laws.] Special meeting Tuesday, Dec 11 1917 of all 13 eligible girls. Discussed whether each girl should or shouldn't vote for herself. Constitution doesn't address this; no set precedent.
