Lab's Curriculum

The University of Chicago Laboratory Schools seeks to exemplify educational practice at its best. This means helping each student to maximize his or her own human potential while also learning to be a productive member of our school community and of the society at large.

The curriculum of the Laboratory Schools is by no means set in stone. It changes. It evolves. It is a work in progress. The descriptions that follow are therefore dated. They do, however, provide a fair picture of what our curriculum looks like today.
