Each year, the Laboratory Schools focus on a limited number of initiatives to measurably improve our educational program and related services. These initiatives are a subset of and complement the more encompassing mission of the Schools including the:
- Development and refinement of what is taught
- Development of the skills of critical and expansive thinking
- Preparation of students for the expectations of higher education
- Hiring and support of an outstanding faculty
- Maintenance of a learning environment to support the above
